About

South Asia Union is a nonprofit initiative of eShe, an independent magazine and blog based in New Delhi that amplifies women’s voices and stories of our shared humanity.

A monthly magazine that’s available to download or read online on eShe.in, Issuu and Magzter, eShe has touched the lives of millions of women and men worldwide since its launch in July 2017.

eShe has been media partner for The Economic Times SDGs Summit 2020Grant Thornton SABERA 2020 Awards, and Women Economic Forum 2017. It has been ranked 20 among the top women’s magazines in the world by content aggregator Feedspot.

We are on a mission to build peace in our region, beginning with India and Pakistan, towards which eShe organised its Indo-Pak Peace Summit Led by Women in January 2021. Over 40 eminent women speakers and over 300 delegates from around the world came together to brainstorm solutions for peace and had enlightening conversations to bridge divides. (Full coverage here.)

We’re now looking at more conversations, dialogues and peace talks at a regional level across South Asia, and are excited and eager to welcome volunteers to join hands with us in our mission.
